Our story

Lhama.me started in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, in 2014. We ran dozens of events, worked with dozens of companies, and taught hundreds of people in talks and classes.

Then we went international, and the name did not travel well. Say Lhama in English and you hear "lama", which means mud in Portuguese. Not ideal for a marketing agency.

So we kept the spirit and changed the name. Inka stays in the Andes, home of the llama and its cousin, the alpaca. Same Latin American roots, now based in Toronto.

A journalist who teaches digital marketing and social media at universities and companies in more than three countries. She started Lhama.me in 2014 and now leads Inka from Toronto.
